This policy explains how freyt uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and web app. It supplements our Privacy Policy. We keep this short on purpose — we don't run advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

1. What cookies we use

• Essential / session cookies— keep you logged in, remember your session, and protect against cross-site request forgery. The Service won't function without these.
• Preference cookies— remember settings like dismissed banners or display preferences, so you don't have to reset them each visit.
• Analytics cookies— privacy-respecting, first-party usage analytics (pages visited, features used) so we can see what's working and fix what isn't. These don't track you across other sites and aren't linked to any ad network.

We don't use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party ad networks.

2. Third parties

A small number of service providers may set their own cookies to support functionality we rely on — for example, our payment processor (Stripe or PayPal) during checkout. These are governed by that provider's own policy, and are only active on pages where that function is used.

3. How long cookies last

Session cookies clear when you close your browser. Preference and analytics cookies persist for up to 12 months, after which they expire automatically and are reset on your next visit.

4. Managing cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in or using the app; blocking preference or analytics cookies won't affect core functionality.

We may update this policy as our practices evolve. For material changes, we'll notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
